Larabar ALT Review & Total Body At Home Stair Workout

Larabar ALT Bars

ALT®, the Alternative Protein Bar™, is the first-ever bar with added protein from LÄRABAR! Many bar brands use soy or whey protein, but ALT uses an alternative protein source: peas. Vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and non-GMO, ALT also uses a wrapper that is 31% renewable.

They sent me 4 flavors to try out!

LEMON POUND CAKE
The above picture is the lemon pound cake flavor! Tasted fresh and lemoney, and had a perfect chewy/crunchy texture, from the dates and nuts in them!

PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE
Below are the ingredients that were in the peanut butter cookie flavor! LOOK AT THAT! I can pronounce them all and know what they all are! Natural whole clean ingredients. It was crunchy & sweet with actual natural ingredients that I can taste and feel texture-wise
Of course, can you guess that the PB flavor was my favorite? :P #nutbutteraddict

CINNAMON APPLE CRISP
This one was definitely sweeter than the others, and more chewy! Probably because there were more dates in them! The taste was true to the name: appley & cinnamony and tasty! May have been a bit too sweet for my taste!

PUMPKIN PIE
My second favorite flavor out of the 4: Because it reminded me of Thanksgiving dinner!
Made with dried pumpkin, it tasted like a crunchier pumpkin pie! The texture of this was different than the others - not as chewy or datey, but had more of a crunch from the nuts!

Overall, I LOVE the flavors and textures! Different than normal Lara bars, being not as super chewy, but more crunchy from the amount of nuts added I believe. And they've got a whole whopping 10 GRAMS OF PROTEIN IN THEM WOOT WOOT!
Perfect for pre or post workout, or just a snack to keep you satisfied in the day!
Definitely keep your eye out for these or order your own from Lara Bar online!
Follow them on facebook or twitter as well!

Thanks Lara Bar for sending me these wonderful protein bars to sample!
